7th Annual General Meeting

The 7th AGM of the HK-TWf was successfully held yesterday, marking another important milestone for our growing community. The Executive Committee for the new term (2026–2028) has been elected, with Ir Chris Cheng re-elected as Chairman.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all retiring Executive Committee members for their dedication and valuable contributions over the past term.

We are also pleased to welcome our newly elected committee members:

• Alessandro Martucci

We are grateful for the continued engagement of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and Institution of Civil Engineers Hong Kong Association (ICE HKA), further strengthening collaboration across the wider professional community.

✅ Year in Review Highlights:

• Continued promotion of safe and effective temporary works practices through training, seminars, and industry collaboration

• Successful organisation of technical site visits to facilitate peer learning and sharing of best practices

• Ongoing support to CIC Master Class programmes, particularly in Design for Safety and Temporary Works Management

• Progress of working groups on key topics including falsework & formwork systems, and Design for Safety, alongside contributions to the Temporary Works Management Plan.

Looking ahead, HK-TWf will continue to expand training initiatives, strengthen industry collaboration, and drive continuous improvements in construction safety.
