6th Annual General Meeting (AGM)

On 17th June 2025t, the Temporary Works Forum Hong Kong (HK-TWf) successfully held its 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM), bringing together industry leaders, members, and collaborators both in-person and online for an insightful evening of reflection, discussion, and future planning.

The AGM highlighted our collective efforts in advancing safety standards, addressing industry challenges, and setting ambitious goals for the year ahead. Here’s a summary of the key highlights:

✅ Chairman’s Report: Reaffirmed the importance of "Design for Safety" in temporary works, especially in light of recent incidents. Our achievements through seminars, master classes, and collaborations with CIC, HKIE, ICE-HK, ACEHK, MTRC, contractors, and other industry partners were celebrated. A summary of seminars and training sessions held last year is attached.

✅ Executive Committee Continuation: The current Executive Committee will continue their term, providing steady leadership and driving HK-TWf’s mission to improve safety in temporary works.

✅ Exciting Plans for the Year Ahead: We’re set to roll out e-training modules, organize site visits to share best practices, and deliver seminars/training courses such as Design for Safety, Temporary Works Awareness, and Falsework Appreciation—all aimed at raising safety standards and fostering professional growth.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Committee, working groups, members, and collaborators for their dedication and commitment to driving meaningful change in the industry. Together, we are building a safer and more innovative construction sector.
